The Holidays with the Fetzer's and the New Year!

We had a great time this Holiday Season.  We kept pretty busy and enjoyed our time together!

At the first of the month I finished my two classes and I did well.  It felt good to be done with a good grade.  It was nice to be done at the begining so I could focus my time on family time and the holidays.  I am signed few classes this next semester, some which I am a little nervous about and should stay pretty busy, wish me luck!

On the 12th Lawson was in a holiday concert at school.  He played the violin and did a great job.
He and Ava also worked on science fair projects this month and both did great!

That weekend we had the ward Christmas party, which is always a good time.  We also had a family birthday party, where we also always have a great time!  That Sunday I sang with a small group of fabulous ladies in my ward.  We sang "Were you there on that Christmas night".  It is one of my favorites to sing and I have sung it many times with my sisters.

The next week we celebrated Pierce's birthday.  He is 5 now, I can't believe it.  He is so stubborn, but so darn cute and clever.  Jake asked him yesterday what he wanted to be when he grew up and he said "I want to be a grandpa."  We celebrated with hamburgers and cake and ice cream and we went to zoo lights as a family.  We had a fun time celebrating Pierce.

The next night we got to celebrate Lawson.  He received his Webelos award and his Arrow of light.  All the boys in his group were able to finish their requirements with the help of their good leaders and receive their arrow of lights just before the program ended with the church.  It was a special night and we are so proud of Lawson!

I also got to attend our RS Christmas dinner and musical program that week and had a wonderful time with the sisters in my ward.

The kids were out of school and we were into our Christmas week.  We just kind of took it easy until Christmas.  Christmas day was so great.  The kids woke up too early and we made them stick in out in their room for a while.   Before we went out we read a short story about our Saviors birth. Then we did presents and breakfast.  The kids were so excited and Jake and I love to see them light up!  We then had lunch at my parents.  We sang songs and enjoyed each others company.  Then a little later we had dinner at the church with the Fetzers.  We had a good time visiting and playing a unwrapping game.   Overall Christmas was pretty great!

We finished the week with the Cooper Christmas party on Saturday.  We had a fun time visiting and playing the white elephant game.  We always enjoy the time we get to spend with the Coopers.  Sunday we had our Christmas party with my Aunts family where we enjoyed visiting as well and also another round of the white elephant game.

We have just been relaxing this week, the kids have been enjoying there last few days of being off of school.  New years eve was just kind of chill this year, which was nice.  We just ate yummy food, played games and watched movies.  Pierce was the only one who made it until midnight this year.

We are excited to see what 2020 has in store for our family!
Wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
