Happy Mother's Day to my Mama!

Happy Mother's Day to this awesome lady!  My sister's and I are very lucky to have a mom who helps us whenever she can, gives us so much love, and is a great example!  Love you mom!

Mother's Day started with Lawson and Jake giving me a really thoughtful card and some fun gifts as well.  Laws also made me an awesome picture in Nursery!

After church my sister's and I surprised my mom at her house when she got home from church and BBQ'ed for her.  We all made yummy salads to share and we all had a fun time!

Here are another couple of awesome ladies We love and admire.  Jake's mom is awesome and is always willing to help others and is a great example to us.  We love living just across the street.  It is also nice to have Grandma Cooper around as well.  This is the only Grandma Jake and I have between us both and we couldn't be more grateful.  We are thankful for their love and support!

I feel so honored and blessed to be the mama to these precious kiddo's.  They are such a joy in my life and I love to watch them learn and grow and hope I can be the mother they both deserve!

Painting and Fire Pit

So this March, just soon before Ava was born, Jake took on a couple of projects.  He painted the back of the house, with the help of his mom and brother Quinn.  It looks great.  They did such a great job and put a lot of hours into making it look nice.  He also did a lot of yard work!  What a guy....Thanks Jake!

Jake also made a fire pit!  It started out with him and his brother John cutting a big steal/metal frame from an old furnace.  Then Jake dug the pit to put it in and lined it with rocks.  He also filled up the bottom with rocks and painted the trim.  It looks awesome!  We have had fun with a few fires back there so far and plan to have a lot more this summer.  Some come on over if you are in the mood to roast some marshmallows!

Easter Fun

So this Easter was a little different this year.  Ava was only 2 weeks old so were still staying home from public things, like church.  I missed going to church and seeing all of the cute kiddos in their Easter attire.

Saturday Jake took Lawson to the Cooper Easter party. They had a really good time there, Ken and Mandy put together a great party! Sunday we hung out at home and then went to my parents for dinner and egg dying. We had a lot of fun. It was nice to get out of the house. Jake also hid Lawson's basket outside and Laws had a great time finding it. Overall Easter was pretty fun this year.
