Lawson Turns 3!

Lawson 1 day old

Lawson 1 year old

Lawson 2 years old

Lawson 3 years old

Wow, time sure does fly! I can't believe this little guy is already 3!!

First thing Lawson wanted to do when he woke up on his birthday was open his presents. So we let him open all but one of them that morning. He was pretty excited!!

We decided to tak him to his first movie for his brithday so we told him some that were playing at a couple theaters and he deciede he wanted to see Puss and Boots.

He actually did pretty well at the movie. A few wiggles and a few talking out loud incidents, but over all he didn't do too bad. The few snacks we brought also helped!

We asked Lawson what he wanted for dinner and he said "Strawberries.....and Pizza...with pepperoni's on it!" So that is exactly what we had with pie and ice cream for dessert. After dinner we gave Laws his last gift. We got a work bench and bought a set of tools to go with it. I think that was the hit of the night. He especially loved the drill!!
The next day we celebrated the 3 January Birthdays at my parents house with ice cream and cake. Uncle Zach, Lawson and Anna (me) have January birthdays. We had a good time exchanging gifts and ate some yummy treats. My parents and sisters (and their spouses) are always very thoughtful with their gifts for Laws and for me! Unfortunately I did not get any good pictures at their house.

Overall I think Lawson had a great birthday!

Happy Birthday Lawson! We love you and hope your next year is great one!!

CHRISTMAS 2011

We had a really nice Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we just spent taking it easy and visiting with some of the family. Christmas morning we got up around 7:30 and woke Lawson up so he could open presents before we went to church.

Lawson had a fun time going through his stoking and ours. I think his favorite item was his Darth Vadar candy dispenser. After we had a fun time watching Lawson open his gifts under the tree. He loved it! He got some clothes, some toys, some books and a movie.

Then we all got ready to go to church, which was kind of different for a Christmas morning. The program was very nice and wasn't too long.

We went for the traditional creamed eggs and toast at the Fetzer's for Breakfast/Brunch after church. It is always a fun time with everyone there. Soon after breakfast we headed to the Clift's for lunch and for a gift exchange. The lunch was great and we all had fun exchanging with one of the other couples. Laws got a few things too...yeah he is spoiled/lucky and he loves every minute of it. After a few hours at the with the Clift side we headed back to the Fetzer's for dinner. It was a great day full of fun and lots of food.
