Fun in Bear Lake

This year the Cooper reunion was held at Bear Lake.  We stayed at Bear Lake Adventures and what an adventure we had.

We planned on leaving Monday morning at 9:30 and didn't leave until 11:00.  Jake made a great point saying that if we would have planed on 11:00 it would have been 2:00.  Tonya and her van full of people and Jon and his car full of people all left at the same time.  We stopped in Garden City for a quick bite to eat.  Then before 3 we pulled into our week of fun.  We set up camp and just hung out for the rest of the day.

The rest of the week was full of activities.  Many of them just included playing in the lake.  The kids had a great time playing in the sand on the beach.  We had water fights, snow cones, campfire and smores, games and just a fun time hanging out with everyone.  A couple mornings Masha, Kim and some of the other ladies helped paint faces.  They did an awesome job and the kiddos loved it. There were over 90 of us there and it was so good to get to spend time with all of them.  At one point a water balloon launching fight broke out between the Haddock boys and the Fetzer boys and some of the other boys of course.  It was quite entertaining.

The last night there we had a talent show.  Randy's kids put on a great little number about Grandma and Grandpa Cooper and their kids, "I woke up in the morning feelin' like J. Cooper...."  It was awesome.  Talese treated us with a few songs as well.  What talent!  Some of the kiddos did a few things too, including Lawson singing Scooby Dooby Doo.  After the talent show we had an outdoor movie.  It was a great time.

Thursday morning we all had breakfast and then cleaned up, packed up and went home.  Jon's car and our car stopped in Wyoming so the boys could get some fireworks.

We had a great time and thank everyone for making such great meals and for Sandy and Reed putting the whole thing together.  Cooper's Rock!

(A lot of fun = a lot of pictures)
